IT Manager - Infrastructure, Endpoint & Security Operations

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead and scale our IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, and workplace technology. This role will be critical in ensuring seamless IT operations, strong governance, and a secure, high-performance environment that supports our rapid growth.
You will partner closely with business, engineering, and leadership teams to build a robust, scalable, and future-ready IT ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
IT Operations & Infrastructure Management
- Own end-to-end enterprise IT infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring availability, scalability, and security for a global user base.
- Lead multi-cloud operations (Azure, AWS, GCP) with strong governance, performance optimization, and cost control (FinOps).
- Architect, deploy, and manage Windows and Linux platforms, including IIS/Apache web servers, file servers, FTP/SFTP, DHCP, LDAP, syslog, storage, and backup systems.
- Own virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V) and ensure high availability, capacity planning, and recovery readiness.
- Design and operate ExpressRoute and secure network connectivity, ensuring resilient on premises to cloud integration.
- Drive proactive monitoring and operational stability using platforms such as Nagios/Zabbix/NMS to prevent outages before business impact.
- Act as the highest technical escalation point, leading complex incident resolution with expert troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
Enterprise Systems, Identity & Workplace Technology
- Serve as Microsoft Global Administrator, governing Azure AD / Entra ID, Entra Domain Services, and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Own identity and access management, including SSO, SAML/OIDC, AAA, Conditional Access, privileged access, and break-glass strategies.
- Lead user onboarding and offboarding with secure access provisioning across identity, endpoint, and collaboration platforms.
- Own endpoint lifecycle management, driving Zero-Touch Deployment using Intune Autopilot and enforcing configuration standards.
- Govern endpoint and server patching, compliance, encryption, and security posture using Intune (MDM/MAM) and Microsoft Defender (NGAV, EDR, XDR).
- Manage enterprise tools such as collaboration platforms, productivity suites, and internal systems to optimize IT service delivery and user experience.
IT Service Management & Helpdesk Operations
- Own end-to-end IT Service Management (ITIL) processes including incident, problem, change, and service request management.
- Oversee and optimize Helpdesk operations, ensuring SLA compliance, effective escalations, knowledge management, and high user satisfaction.
Information Security & Compliance
- Own the organization's overall IT security posture, covering endpoints, infrastructure, cloud, network, email, and data.
- Lead Threat Management and Security Operations, including vulnerability management, proactive threat detection, and incident response.
- Operate and govern SIEM (Azure Sentinel), threat hunting, and advanced security investigations (KQL experience preferred), as well as SOAR platforms.
- Manage email security including Exchange and transport rules, phishing investigations, and enforcement of DMARC, DKIM, and SPF.
- Partner with InfoSec teams to ensure adherence to security policies and frameworks (ISO, SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
- Drive implementation of security best practices across systems and endpoints, and manage audits and risk assessments.
Enterprise Networking & Security
- Own enterprise networking and security, including switching/routing, Aruba Central, ClearPass NAC, Fortinet firewalls, ZTNA, VPN, WAN/LAN, ZPA, and load balancing.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and OEMs; negotiate contracts and ensure SLA adherence.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Engineering, Security, Finance, and Business to align IT with organizational priorities.
Team Leadership & Strategy
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing IT Operations and Security team with a strong ownership-driven culture, acting as a trusted advisor enabling continuous improvement.
- Define the IT roadmap aligned with organizational growth.
- Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 14–18 years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure, or Enterprise IT.
- Proven experience managing large-scale IT environments in fast-growing organizations.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), networks, and enterprise systems.
- Experience in ITSM frameworks (ITIL) and service delivery models.
- Demonstrated experience in managing security and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-growth tech, analytics, or consulting organization
- Exposure to automation, DevOps practices, or modern IT environments
- Certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, PMP, or cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP).
