Key Responsibilities for IT Infrastructure Managers Professionals
- Plan, manage, and oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and technology operations.
- Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business requirements and organizational objectives.
- Manage enterprise networks, servers, data centers, cloud infrastructure, storage systems, and IT platforms.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and reliability to support uninterrupted business operations.
- Lead infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, technology implementations, and modernization initiatives.
- Manage network architecture, connectivity, firewalls, VPNs, servers, storage, virtualization, and related infrastructure components.
- Implement infrastructure security controls, access management, backup solutions, disaster recovery, and business continuity measures.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity, application, cloud, DevOps, and IT operations teams to ensure integrated technology services.
- Manage IT infrastructure vendors, service providers, contracts, licensing, and technology procurement activities.
- Monitor infrastructure performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Identify infrastructure risks, troubleshoot critical technical issues, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
- Manage infrastructure budgets, resource allocation, capacity planning, and operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies, security standards, regulatory requirements, and technology best practices.
- Prepare infrastructure reports, architecture documentation, operational procedures, and management presentations.
- Lead and mentor infrastructure teams while promoting continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and technology best practices.
Eligibility Requirements
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–20 years of relevant experience (varies by country).
- English communication skills.
