Job Title: IT Tech desk Engineer - Spanish
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 technical support for PC client issues including desktop/laptop hardware, software, operating systems, printers, and related peripherals.
- Assist Spanish speaking users by providing information on IT processes, general how to queries, and updates on known outages.
- Analyse reported problems, determine root cause, follow Knowledge Base articles, provide accurate resolutions, and document all relevant details in the ticketing system.
- Escalate issues to appropriate Level 2 teams when required and monitor progress on high priority incidents.
- Follow up with Level 2 support teams to ensure timely closure of user requests and incidents.
- Provide IT support through inbound and outbound voice calls, web tickets, and chat interactions in both Spanish and English.
- Work in a 24×7 operational environment, including rotational shifts, with a standard 5 day working schedule.

Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and above Operating Systems.
- Good working knowledge of Windows environment, Microsoft 365, and internet technologies.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and the ability to troubleshoot LAN and remote access issues.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Office 365 and Microsoft Outlook 2016 or later.
- Ability and eagerness to learn quickly, maintain updated technical knowledge, and adapt to new technologies.

EDUCATION & WORK HISTORY
- Minimum qualification: HSC (Grade 12). A technical diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.
- Prior experience in voice based technical support, especially for Spanish speaking customers, is an added advantage.

- High proficiency in Spanish (mandatory) and English (mandatory) – strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
- Ability to hold clear, fluent conversations with minimal fillers and a professional tone.
- Neutral accent, pleasant voice, appropriate pace of speech, and confidence in handling customer communication.
- Effective listening skills – ability to understand customer issues thoroughly and respond appropriately without interruptions.
