Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for an IT Finance Project Manager with focus on Planning (SAC) and Parallel reporting (Part of SAP IFRS).
We are looking for an experienced IT Business Applications Project Manager to lead SAP‑based financial solutions end‑to‑end – from understanding business needs to leading the implementation and continuous improvement of systems integrated with organizational ERP platforms.
The role is part of the IT organization and focuses on leading the delivery of Finance solutions within SAP and related systems. It involves working closely with Finance and Business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external vendors, while maintaining full ownership of solution direction and delivery from the IT side.
This role focuses on driving automation and AI capabilities, improving efficiency, accuracy, and control over financial operations and data, and ensuring reliable and scalable SAP‑based solutions across integrated ERP environments.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Delivery Management
· Lead end-to-end projects for finance solutions and applications
· Manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and stakeholders
· Support development and testing activities, including UAT
Business Analysis & Solution Design
· Gather, analyze, and define business and functional requirements processes
· Perform systems analysis and business process analysis as part of solution design
· Prepare and maintain functional and technical specification documents
ERP, Data & Integrations
· Collaborate with ERP, BI, Data, and Integration teams
· Define and document system integrations and technical interfaces
· Drive automation initiatives and improve ERP-based business processes
Vendors & Stakeholder Management
· Manage external vendors and coordinate with internal IT teams
· Support vendor selection processes and participate in defining scope and requirements
· Manage vendors as well as internal stakeholders, including COE, Regional IT, and internal delivery teams, throughout project execution
Governance & Compliance
· Ensure compliance with information security, documentation, and change control standards
Required Education, Experience and Skill Set
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering & Management, or a related field
- At least 6 years of experience in project management
- Experience in systems analysis, including requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution definition
- Experience writing functional and technical specification documents
- Hands-on ERP experience, including SAP FI (configuration, data migration, and integrations)
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Familiarity with SaaS / Cloud systems and modern data architectures
