Role Overview:
The IT Director at Callaway Digital Technologies is accountable for leading multiple dynamic
technology domains, including Business Applications (SAP, PLM, Workday), B2B and D2C
eCommerce platforms, and Retail applications. This role ensures seamless delivery, support, and
lifecycle management of critical IT systems, balancing technical leadership with operational
excellence and the cultivation of high-performing teams to drive strategic business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for Business Applications—
including SAP (ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Cloud), PLM, Workday, and eCommerce/Retail platforms.
• Build, mentor, and inspire diverse high-performing teams of professionals: SAP
consultants, developers, architects, and cross-platform IT specialists.
• Oversee the planning and successful delivery of complex SAP projects, including end-toend transformations, integrations, and process reengineering initiatives.
• Drive large-scale SAP and ERP implementations, ensuring alignment with organizational
objectives, best practices, and regulatory standards.
• Demonstrate deep expertise in one of the following SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM,
SD, APO, as well as strong architectural and development lifecycle management.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability within IT teams.
• Champion cross-functional and cross-platform collaboration to support seamless IT
operations across business functions.
• Serve as a key liaison with global IT leaderships to ensure seamless delivery of IT project,
application enhancements and app support.
• Develop and lead strategies for hiring, training, and retaining top IT talent.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's or master’s in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or
related.
• 10+ years’ experience in IT leadership roles, with significant exposure to SAP, Workday,
and digital commerce applications.
• Proven ability to lead and deliver large-scale ERP (SAP, Workday) and business
transformation projects.
• Strong functional and technical expertise across SAP ERP platforms, from ECC to
S/4HANA and cloud integrations.
• Track record of developing and motivating diverse, multi-disciplinary teams in a complex,
evolving landscape of technology.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
