Job Title: IT - Content Developer : Freelance role
Location: Remote
Role Summary
We are a premier training provider assisting businesses in their Digital Transformation journeys. We are looking for a skilled Content Developer to act as the bridge between our expert Trainers and our commercial training products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Production for Instructor-Led Training (ILT)
- Develop and polish high-quality presentation decks (PowerPoint/Keynote) based on outlines provided by Product Managers.
- Create comprehensive Facilitator Guides and Participant Workbooks to accompany the training sessions.
- Design technical lab manuals or exercise sheets for hands-on Cyber Security simulations.
2. Trainer Coordination & Content Fine-Tuning
- Collaborate remotely with External Trainers to review technical accuracy and flow.
- Translate a trainer’s rough notes or "brain dumps" into structured, pedagogical content.
- Incorporate feedback from trainers after pilot sessions to refine and improve course materials.
3. Visual Design & Branding
- Ensure all content adheres to our corporate branding guidelines and looks professional for external clients.
- Create visual assets (diagrams, infographics, flowcharts) to explain complex security architecture (e.g., Cloud Security models, Network diagrams) simply.
4. Remote Project Management
- Manage timelines for multiple course developments simultaneously using our project management structure.
- Ensure version control of all training assets across the digital library.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in content development, specifically for Instructor-Led Training (ILT) or Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT).
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Cyber Security terminology (e.g., distinguish between SOC, SIEM, Penetration Testing, and GRC) is essential to communicate effectively with trainers.
- Tool Proficiency:
- Expert level in Microsoft PowerPoint (Master slides, animations, visual formatting).
- Proficiency in MS Word (for formatting manuals) and PDF editors.
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or similar AI Tools) to create diagrams.
- Remote Work Skills: Strong self-discipline, excellent time management, and proficiency with remote collaboration tools (Google Meet & Workspace).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for a Training Vendor or in a B2B professional services environment.
- Experience creating technical labs or technical documentation.
- Certification in Instructional Design (e.g., ADDIE model familiarity).
