About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Associate to manage day-to-day IT operations across the organization. This is a hands-on role covering device management, IT support, access management, software licensing, and IT security for a team of ~100 employees. The ideal candidate takes ownership, resolves issues fast, and ensures every employee has a seamless IT experience from Day 1.
Key Responsibilities
1. Laptop & Device Management
• Maintain a complete and updated IT asset register for all employees
• Manage end-to-end laptop procurement (new and refurbished) based on business needs
• Ensure every new joiner has a fully configured laptop ready on Day 1
• Collect, wipe, and record all devices on an employee's last working day
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate best pricing
• Conduct annual IT asset audit with zero discrepancies
2. IT Support & Helpdesk
• Be the single point of contact for all IT issues across the organization
• Resolve all IT issues within 4 hours on average; zero issues unresolved beyond 24 hours
• Maintain an IT issue log and share monthly updates with HR
• Identify and fix root causes of recurring issues proactively
• Ensure zero escalations due to delayed IT support
3. Email & Access Management
• Create email IDs and system access for all new joiners on Day 1
• Revoke all access and email IDs on an employee's last working day — no exceptions
• Maintain and update the company email directory at all times
• Ensure zero active accounts of ex-employees at any point
• Standardise and enforce email naming conventions across the organization
4. Software & License Management
• Maintain a complete software inventory and track all license renewals
• Flag upcoming renewals 30 days in advance — zero expired licenses
• Evaluate and procure new software requirements within agreed timelines
• Ensure no unauthorised software is installed on any company device
• Identify unused licenses and flag for cost optimisation
• Configure and maintain DKIM, SPF, and DMARC email authentication; document DNS access securely
5. IT Policy & Security
• Draft and roll out a basic IT usage policy for all employees by June 2026
• Ensure all company devices are password protected — zero exceptions
• Build and follow IT onboarding and offboarding checklists consistently
• Identify and escalate any security risks immediately
• Ensure zero data breaches or security incidents
What We're Looking For
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role
• Hands-on experience with laptop configuration, software setup, and access management
• Basic knowledge of email authentication (DKIM, SPF, DMARC) and DNS settings
• Familiarity with HRMS or IT asset management tools is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good communication skills — able to coordinate with employees across departments
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with zero-delay execution
