Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and skilled IT Asset, Infrastructure & Security Engineer to manage end-to-end IT operations, including asset lifecycle management, system administration, and network security.
This role blends IT asset governance, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity, ensuring seamless IT operations, optimized system performance, and a secure IT environment across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complete IT asset lifecycle including procurement, allocation, maintenance, and disposal
- Maintain accurate asset inventory, tagging, documentation, and audit readiness
- Perform system diagnostics and troubleshoot hardware, software, and performance issues
- Support day-to-day IT operations, including onboarding and offboarding activities
- Administer Active Directory, user accounts, access control, and Group Policies
- Manage and monitor physical and virtual servers, including cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Handle storage, backup, and patch management to ensure system reliability
- Configure and maintain network security systems, including firewalls (Fortinet) and VPNs
- Monitor system and network performance, ensuring high availability and security
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, maintenance, and AMC services
- Ensure software license compliance and timely renewals
- Maintain proper documentation, reports, and IT operational records
Required Skills:
- Experience in IT asset lifecycle management
- Strong system diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
- Experience with server infrastructure (physical & virtual)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Knowledge of firewall and network security (Fortinet preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting
- Familiarity with ERP/asset management systems
- Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
