Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for executing IT Asset Management Function across Allegion Globally.
- Maintains and Manages IT Asset Hardware Information, Software License information, Compliance, & Audits across Allegion worldwide
- Maintains asset database integrity and ensure compliance with asset governance and standards, enterprise security. Execute updates to AMDB.
- Maintains processes and procedures for workflows and requests.
- Oversees and conducts physical inventory of Assets to include hardware, software, equipment and supplies.
- Responsible for Defining, Clarifying, and Implementing various polices & Procedures related to ITAM across the sites worldwide and ensuring ITAM Policies are adhered for IT HW and SW Assets
- Administer Asset Management Tools.
- Utilizes tools to support Asset Discovery and Reconciliation of IT Assets.
- Coordinate complete lifecycle of IT Assets including disposal and/or end-of-lease returns.
- Provides status accounting of IT Assets on a regular basis or as required
- Generates and executes current renewal process for hardware/service contracts such as 30/60/90 day reports, lease Assets and non-lease equipment greater than agreed years in production, etc.
- Reconciles and investigates financial billing while ensuring compliance.
- Liaise with the Field services, Procurement SPOCs, and other BU’s to ensure the process continuation & data accuracy
- Supports continuous improvement of ITAM operations best practices based on industry standards
- Collaborates with internal support teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents involving issues with asset automation, discovery and integrations with applicable systems.
- Participates in key asset decisions and negotiations with vendors and asset maintenance renewals.
- Provides support in all aspect of ITAM as needed - which includes, but not limited to, hardware, services, vendor management, etc.
- Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
Technical Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and Technology,
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification (v3 / v4), required.
- 5~6 years of relevant IT asset management operations experience must
- Service Now Experience Must.
- Should be Proficient in Excel & Analytics
- Previous experience of reviewing and interpreting IT contracts, service level agreements, and right to use validation.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification, required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM, CMDB, JAMF will be added advantage
