Role Description The IT Administrator at MindPlus is a full-time, on-site role based in Ludhiana. This role is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, workstations, and peripheral devices. Day-to-day tasks include installing and configuring hardware and software, managing user accounts and permissions, and ensuring data security and system backups. The IT Administrator will respond to technical support requests from staff, diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, and escalate complex problems when needed. The role also involves proactive performance monitoring, documentation of IT processes, and collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to ensure reliable and secure technology support for mental health services.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in System Administration and Information Technology to manage servers, user accounts, operating systems, and security configurations.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Network Administration and Troubleshooting to maintain connectivity, identify issues, and optimize network performance.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support skills to assist end users, resolve incidents, and provide clear guidance on IT tools and applications.
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments, basic cybersecurity practices, and backup and recovery solutions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively in a healthcare setting with sensitivity to confidentiality requirements.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; prior experience in healthcare or hospital IT is an advantage.
