Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Administrator with 3–5 years of experience to manage, maintain, and support the organization’s IT infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for system administration, network management, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal performance through effective system diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and systems
- Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions
- Monitor system and network performance regularly
- Provide technical support to employees (L1/L2 support)
- Handle IT asset management and inventory tracking
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement and issue resolution
- Ensure data backup, recovery, and security practices
System Diagnostics & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose hardware, software, and network issues
- Perform root cause analysis for system failures
- Monitor system health, logs, and performance metrics
- Identify and resolve system bottlenecks and downtime issues
- Use diagnostic tools and monitoring software effectively
- Ensure minimal downtime through proactive maintenance
Technical Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Basic networking: LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with Active Directory and user management
- Knowledge of firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint security
- Familiarity with backup solutions and disaster recovery
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is an advantage
- Experience with remote support and ticketing tools
Qualification:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified, or similar will be an added advantage.
Experience:
3–5 years of relevant experience in IT administration, system support, or network management roles.
Key Competencies:
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently are essential. The candidate should possess good communication skills and be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
