[Purpose of this job]

This role is responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining robot vision systems in the automotive industry, ensuring system performance and customer satisfaction. It also supports technical sales by addressing customer needs and promoting automation solutions.

[Duties & Responsibility]

  • Install robot vision systems at customer sites in the automotive industry, including system start-up and commissioning.
  • Provide service, maintenance, system checks, and high-end tuning for installed systems; conduct customer training sessions.
  • Perform routine service for installed systems.
  • Troubleshoot errors and failures to identify root causes and implement solutions.
  • Submit work and troubleshooting reports to the manager and customer.
  • Support technical sales efforts by addressing technical issues and providing solutions.

[Qualifications]

  • Technician certification or a degree in machine vision, automation technology, robotics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or electrical engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in field service or technical support
  • Proven expertise in field engineering and customer service excellence
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both customers and colleagues
  • High level of mobility and willingness to travel frequently as required
