Trainee Data Engineer

Role: Trainee Data Engineer Job Location: Mysore CTC: Max upto ₹3.5 LPA Service Agreement: 2 years Graduates in Btech-any branch/BCA and BSC only in CS & IT Batch 2020 and above Immediate joiners only Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide data solutions. Support data cleaning, validation, and transformation tasks for various data sources. Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving data issues, ensuring high data quality and consistency. Document processes, systems, and solutions to improve team collaboration and knowledge sharing. Continuously learn and apply best practices in data engineering, Python, and SQL. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and new initiatives. Technical Competence: Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python, SQL, or other data-related technologies (e.g., Python for Data Science, SQL Certification, Data Engineering Fundamentals). Strong understanding of Python programming, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and others for data manipulation. Solid understanding of SQL for querying databases, including experience with joins, aggregations, and subqueries. Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus. Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. S trong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of data engineering. Interview process: 1 st round: Aptitude and Technical Assessment (General apti + SQL & Python) 2 nd round: Technical Interview/Hiring Manager Interview 3 rd round: HR Interview Non-Technical Competencies: Excellent Communication skills in English Analytical Thinking Quick Learner Team Player Basic awareness of American culture would be added advantage. Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related fields.
