Job Summary: As a Group Principal at IEF, you will be accountable for overseeing the Project Management and Contracts functions across the organization. The Group Principal ensures all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships and contractual compliance. They also provide strategic direction, leadership, and governance for project delivery and contract administration, aligning operations with corporate goals and client expectations.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement the overall project management strategy, establishing best practices, processes, and performance standards.
- Serve as an executive advisor on project performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Oversee planning, execution, and closeout of all projects, ensuring contractual, financial, and operational success.
- Ensure effective project governance, reporting, accountability, and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead contract negotiations, execution, compliance, and risk management, including claims and dispute resolution.
- Collaborate with legal and executive leadership on high-value or high-risk contractual issues.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Contract Administrators, and staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure effective resource allocation, succession planning, and professional growth across teams.
- Act as executive point of contact for clients and stakeholders, strengthening relationships and representing the company externally.
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, profitability, billing, and financial reporting in partnership with Finance.
Authorities:
- Approve project strategies, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure performance and risk management.
- Negotiate and authorize contracts, subcontracts, and change orders within delegated financial limits.
- Make staffing decisions, including hiring, promotions, performance management, and discipline within Project Management and Contracts.
- Resolve executive-level disputes and represent the company in negotiations, client meetings, and industry forums.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).…
- Minimum 12–15 years of progressive project management experience in construction, engineering, or façade/architectural industries, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, complex projects and contracts.
- Strong background in contract negotiation, risk management, and financial oversight.

ADA Requirements: The position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods while using a computer, along with sufficient manual dexterity to operate computers, mobile devices, and related IT equipment. The role may occasionally involve lifting or moving equipment weighing up to 25 pounds, as well as bending, crawling, or climbing—such as accessing under desks or server racks. Candidates must possess the ability to concentrate, troubleshoot, and solve problems in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
