About the role

Responsibilities Contract Drafting and Review: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various types of contracts including but not limited to vendor agreements, client contracts, licensing agreements, and employment contracts. Ensuring contracts comply with legal standards and company policies. Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to finalize contract terms and conditions. Legal Research and Analysis: Conducting legal research on various issues related to corporate law, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and other relevant areas. Analyzing statutes, regulations, and case law to provide accurate and timely legal advice. Preparing legal memoranda and summaries outlining research findings and recommendations. Regulatory Compliance: Monitoring changes in laws and regulations affecting the organization's operations. Assisting in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures. Conducting compliance audits and assessments to ensure adherence to legal requirements. Corporate Governance: Assisting with corporate governance matters such as drafting board resolutions, maintaining corporate records, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance principles. Supporting the organization's compliance with applicable corporate laws and regulations. Legal Documentation and Administration: Managing and organizing legal documentation and databases. Assisting in the preparation and filing of legal documents with relevant authorities. Providing administrative support to legal counsel and other team members as needed. Qualification & Experience Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related field. Additional certifications or specialized training may be preferred. Proven experience working in a legal capacity, preferably in a corporate environment. Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
