Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for an ISAT Tutor at TutorComp. The ISAT Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored academic guidance to students preparing for the ISAT exam, designing lesson plans, delivering online sessions, evaluating student performance, and addressing their academic challenges. The tutor will work with learners from diverse backgrounds and assist in developing their test-taking skills and subject knowledge to improve their performance.
Qualifications
- Strong subject knowledge in areas relevant to ISAT, including math, science, and reasoning
- Educator-level skills in preparing lesson plans, providing personalized instruction, and identifying knowledge gaps
- Experience in teaching or tutoring standard entrance exams, with a focus on the ISAT test
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Proficient in operating online teaching platforms and leveraging digital tools for remote education
- Ability to inspire students and create an environment conducive to learning and growth
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Science, Mathematics, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience with international students and familiarity with curriculum standards are advantageous
