Summary Of The Role
The TMS IS Finance Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing financial processes that support business operations and strategic goals. This role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that supply chain solutions are aligned with organizational needs and deliver measurable value. The Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize financial systems and processes.
Tasks And Responsibilities
- Analyze financial processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Gather and document business requirements for finance systems and enhancements.
- Collaborate with IS and business teams to design and implement system solutions.
- Support the deployment and integration of ERP other finance platforms.
- Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and performance monitoring.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, and training materials.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing and provide post-implementation support.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards across finance systems.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers for supply chain technologies.
- Support change management and training initiatives for new systems and processes.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in financial systems analysis or business analysis.
- Strong understanding of distribution, operations and technologies.
- 5+ years of experience with JDE E1 ERP system, Finance Order Management, Procurement, Inventory, master data and related platforms.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) preferred.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
