In this role, you will assist the company in making profitable business decisions by gathering information and preparing accurate estimates. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record as an Estimator.  </div><div><br></div><div><strong>Responsibilities </strong></div><ul> <li>Fully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locations</li> <li>Collect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specifications</li> <li>Determine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costs</li> <li>Gather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible prices</li> <li>Create and submit estimates to project managers</li> <li>Budget and forecast using appropriate software</li> </ul><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field</li> <li>Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) is preferred</li> <li>Previous experience as an Estimator is preferred</li> <li>Ability to forecast building costs and knowledge of estimation formulas</li> <li>Strong mathematical and analytical skills</li> <li>Skilled in relevant software (Timberline, HCSS HeavyBid)</li> <li>Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills</li> </ul> </div>
