The Opportunity at a Glance
Join us as a Finance Executive and bring your expertise, creativity, and passion to the table. You’ll shape memorable experiences by reporting to the Finance Manager-Receivables, the Senior Group Credit Controller To have an effective control over debts of the company, to ensure timely recovery of the debts and implement procedures to improve effectiveness of credit control. To ensure all staff concerned (ops, sales, marketing) adhere to company policies and procedures.
What You'll be Doing
You will be responsible and accountable for, but not limited to, the following key areas
- Maintain customer master files, open accounts post credit checks, and ensure updated documentation is on file.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, short payments, and POD-related delays; collect and deposit PDCs on time.
- Record daily collections, reconcile against invoices, and maintain accurate debtor records.
- Liaise with customers, Sales, KAMs, Commercial Finance, and Warehousing to resolve payment issues and discrepancies.
- Review overdue balances, track collections, and conduct quarterly credit limit reviews with the Finance Manager.
- Send monthly SOAs and Dunning Letters, and respond to ad-hoc customer and sales team requests for statements.
- Prepare monthly MIS/KPI reports and assist with audit-related requirements.
- Perform additional finance duties as assigned, in line with company policies and manager directives.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferably in Finance with minimum 5 years’ experience in similar Industry / role
- Self-starter and highly motivated.
- Strong Credit Control knowledge, Preferably in FMCG
- Good IT skills including Excel
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills & presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team and also unsupervised.
- Specialized Credit control experience is preferred
- System Experience of AX, Excel, Power BI is a plus.
