This role focuses on designing and implementing ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC/IRM) solutions that strengthen enterprise risk posture and improve audit readiness. You will work on building scalable workflows, automations, and dashboards that support risk, compliance, audit, and policy management processes. The position sits at the intersection of technology and risk governance, requiring close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate regulatory and operational needs into robust technical solutions. You will contribute to end-to-end ServiceNow development, integration, and platform optimization in a dynamic IT services environment. Accountabilities
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow GRC/IRM solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise governance, risk, and compliance objectives. You will build and customize modules, workflows, and integrations while supporting platform stability and scalability. Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing ServiceNow GRC/IRM solutions including Policy & Compliance, Risk Management, Audit Management, BCM, TPRM, and CCM
- Developing IRM workspaces, portals, dashboards, forms, and reports to enhance usability and visibility
- Writing and maintaining client-side and server-side scripts using Business Rules, UI Policies, and Script Includes
- Building integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
- Gathering and translating business requirements into technical designs and user stories
- Supporting system administration, upgrades, configurations, and environment management
- Ensuring audit-ready documentation, governance compliance, and role-based access controls
- Supporting security and vulnerability response modules where applicable (SIR/VR)
- Collaborating with stakeholders on testing, training, and knowledge transfer activities
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings 3-8 years of ServiceNow development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in GRC/IRM modules. You should have deep knowledge of ServiceNow configuration, scripting, and integration capabilities, along with a strong understanding of risk and compliance frameworks such as SOX, ISO, and GDPR. A ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required, while CAD or GRC-related CIS certifications are highly desirable. You should be comfortable working with JavaScript, APIs, and platform-level customization, as well as collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions are essential.
- 3-8 years of ServiceNow development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow GRC/IRM modules
- Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs
- Experience with REST and SOAP integrations
- Understanding of risk, compliance, audit, and regulatory frameworks (SOX, ISO, GDPR)
- Experience with dashboards, portals, and workspace development
- ServiceNow CSA certification (mandatory)
- CAD and GRC/IRM certifications (preferred)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or related field
