Job requirements

  • Minimum 3 years in a similar office administration with emphasis in Human Resources and strong Data Analytics.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Planner, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities with ease.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and resourceful with creative problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational skills are required.
  • Experience in a Recruitment role is a plus.
  • Experience with USA and Canadian HR, business rules and legislative requirements a plus.

Job responsibilities

Reporting to our Sr Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for: 

  • Prepare and distribute offer letters and employment agreements.
  • Administer background checks, which include initiating the background check for the specified candidates within required turnaround times.
  • Administer drug, alcohol and physical testing which includes working with candidates to book appointments and monitor results.
  • Assist with planning job fair events and team activities.
  • Schedule interviews for candidates and leaders. Follow up with candidates to ensure they are prepared for their interview.
  • Safeguard all confidential sensitive data and candidate privacy.
  • Handle correspondence and inquiries from external organizations and candidates.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth candidate experience
  • Handle onboarding of new hires and correspondence to all candidates regarding their status.
  • Extract data from various systems and run reports in Excel including headcount, recruitment stats, turnover and other reports as needed.

Other Important Requirements:
  • A clear Criminal Record Check is required.
  • Must provide own steel toed work boots for travel to a site, all other PPE supplied.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to the operations site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
