About the role

The Clinical Data Manager (Data Review) is responsible for the review, reconciliation, and validation of clinical data from various sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements. The primary responsibilities of this role include:- Reviewing clinical data from various sources (e.g., electronic data capture, laboratory, and other ancillary systems) to identify and resolve discrepancies and issues.- Collaborating with clinical data managers, data programmers, and other team members to ensure the integrity and quality of clinical data.- Generating and analyzing data listings, reports, and queries to monitor data quality and identify trends or patterns.- Documenting data review activities and maintaining detailed records of data management processes.- Providing input and support for the development and implementation of data management plans, study-specific data validation plans, and data management procedures.- Participating in the development and execution of data management strategies, including the implementation of quality control measures and the adoption of industry best practices.- Ensuring data are processed and managed in compliance with applicable regulations, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.- Serving as a subject matter expert and providing guidance to team members on data management-related issues.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, biometrics, and medical monitoring, to address data-related concerns and support study objectives.- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the field of clinical data management.
