Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an IPR & Corporate Associate, based in Hubli. The primary responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal agreements, managing intellectual property rights (IPR) portfolios, and conducting research on corporate legal matters. The associate will provide advisory services to clients, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and participate in contract negotiations. The role may also involve liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective legal oversight.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) management, including patent, trademark, and copyright filings and enforcement
- Proficient in Corporate Law, including drafting and reviewing legal agreements, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiation
- Exceptional legal research and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex legal issues
- Effective communication and drafting skills for client interactions and legal documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, other lawyers, and stakeholders to meet objectives
- Strong organizational skills to manage time-sensitive legal tasks efficiently
- A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; an LLM or specialization in IPR or Corporate Law is preferred
- Prior experience working in a law firm or corporate legal environment is advantageous
- Familiarity with Indian legal systems and regulations, along with global legal perspectives
