Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an IPDRG Coder and Quality Auditor at our Coimbatore location. Responsibilities include accurate coding of inpatient records, performing quality audits, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines, and collaborating with teams to address coding discrepancies. The role involves assessing medical documentation, assigning accurate DRG and ICD-10 codes, and maintaining a high standard of quality in coding audits to support successful revenue cycle management.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in IPDRG coding, including ICD-10 and knowledge of medical coding guidelines and standards.
- Experience performing quality audits and reviewing medical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in coding processes.
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, or CIC) is required.
- Prior experience in revenue cycle management or healthcare operations is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or similar is preferred.
