Role Description
This is a remote internship role at LOCS Online. The intern will assist in the preparation of patent applications, conducting patent searches, and determining patentability. Daily tasks include reviewing legal documents, contributing to patent portfolios, and supporting clients with intellectual property strategies. The successful candidate will gain hands-on exposure to global patent law and the lifecycle of intellectual property management.
Qualifications
- Experience in Patent Preparation and drafting Patent Applications
- Strong understanding of Patent Law and the principles of Patentability
- Proficiency in conducting Patent Searching and analysis
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to adapt and collaborate in remote working environments
- Educational background in law, engineering, or a related technical field; registration with a patent office is a plus
- Prior experience in patent-related internship or research is considered an advantage
