We are looking for an experienced and passionate iOS Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of high-quality iOS applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in iOS application development, architecture design, team leadership, and modern mobile engineering practices. This role requires close collaboration with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and other stakeholders to build scalable and user-centric mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of iOS applications from concept to deployment.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable mobile architectures.
- Mentor and guide a team of iOS developers through code reviews, technical discussions, and best practices.
- Collaborate with product, design, QA, and backend teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Drive technical decision-making and establish development standards.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and responsiveness.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, CI/CD processes, and release management practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple application layers.
- Stay updated with the latest iOS technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical roadmap discussions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Technical Skills
- Strong experience in iOS Application Development
- Expertise in Swift
- Good knowledge of Objective-C
- Experience with SwiftUI and UIKit
- Strong understanding of MVVM, MVC, VIPER, and modern mobile architecture patterns
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
- Experience with Concurrency, Multithreading, and Memory Management
- Strong knowledge of Data Persistence (Core Data, Realm, SQLite)
- Experience with Push Notifications and Deep Linking
- Familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines
- Knowledge of App Store deployment and release management
- Experience with Unit Testing and UI Testing
- Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitrise, Fastlane, GitHub Actions)
Leadership & Collaboration
- Experience leading and mentoring iOS development teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to drive technical discussions and architecture decisions.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in high-scale consumer or product-based applications.
- Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
- Exposure to cross-platform technologies is an added advantage.
- Experience with analytics, monitoring, and crash reporting tools such as Firebase Crashlytics.
