About The Role
We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join our dynamic team at Datacultr. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications. This role requires proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C, along with a solid understanding of mobile architectures. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating scalable, efficient, and user-friendly iOS applications that align with our company's technological standards and business objectives.
The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver innovative features and ensure optimal app performance. The developer will also be involved in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing applications, as well as staying updated with the latest industry trends and iOS frameworks to incorporate best practices into our development processes.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. They should have 1 to 2 years of proven experience in iOS software development, with strong skills in Swift and Objective-C, and familiarity with Xcode and Interface Builder. Knowledge of Cocoa Touch frameworks, Core Location, Core Data, and scripting languages like AppleScript is essential. Experience in iTunes Connect, provisioning, code signing, and IPA/build creation is also required.
Additionally, candidates should have expertise in profiling, debugging, and optimizing apps, along with experience in unit testing, UI testing, and performance tuning. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team are critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced iOS applications to meet business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define new features and functionalities.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across various iOS devices.
- Debug and resolve technical issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks efficiently.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and push notification services into applications.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and mentor junior developers when necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest iOS frameworks, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.
