Trainee Solutions Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities – · Provide outstanding service and technical support to Splunk customers and maintain positive customer relationships · Take ownership of resolving customer problems while ensuring an outstanding customer experience · Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Splunk product and related technologies, with a focus on our security line of products, such as Enterprise Security · Troubleshoot technical issues to establish the root cause of problems and form a solution or workaround across a range of environments · Create, reuse, improve, and maintain quality knowledge articles as part of the case management workflow, while following Knowledge-Centered Service principles and methodology · Reproduce customer issues, file bug reports, raise issues to Engineering, and be the bridge between customers and product developers · Drive continuous improvement of tools, processes, and product supportability · Perform other job-related duties as assigned and participate in special projects Skills required – 1) Basic knowledge of computer networks: Network Topology OSI model DNS server Basic network commands : netstat, telnet, ping, nslookup, traceroute, tcpdump etc. 2) Intermediate level understanding of Linux - well versed with the commands: Linux File structure Basic Commands Shell Shortcuts for bash Copying Files and directories 3) Debugging skills - Basic level knowledge of any programming language would be a plus point 4) Should have significant development/deployment contribution in college project 5) Good Communication and problem-solving Skills Other Benefits: Relocation allowance & Travel reimbursements 6th Day pay.
