Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Ensures facility cleaning, programs and documentation are met according to guidelines
- Ensures that the facility is clean, trash is managed and all cleaning is documented.
- Ensures the cleanliness of the plant exterior (associate entrance, docks, dumpster areas, associate break area) and assuring trash is emptied on a timely basis
- Responsible for the completion and submission of work orders for equipment and facility repairs.
- Ensures emptying trash on a regular basis and following correct procedures for daily cardboard recycling.
- Aware of MSDS sheets in the MSDS book for chemicals used in daily work by team.
- Responsible for following Plant Safety Rules and OSHA Rules: understand and follow plant safety rules including/but not limited to safe lifting practices, safety on machine operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience required:
- Prior warehouse or housekeeping experience preferred.
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and written skills.
- Ability to read, speak and write in English.
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) plant safety and OSHA requirements.
- Proven success with working in a team environment.
Additional Information:
- Exposure to food allergens, wheat, nuts, coconut, soy products.
- May work additional overtime.
Hourly rate: $16.50 per hour plus shift differential if applicable. May need to work overtime as required.
