Company Description
Cellumantra Biorefinery Pvt. Ltd. is a green biotechnology startup recognized by DPIIT for its innovative enzymatic biorefinery platform. We transform non-wood agricultural waste into industrial enzymes and advanced biomaterials, with a focus on revenue-driven enzyme production for industries like textiles and wastewater treatment. Our scalability-focused technology enables cost-efficient and circular manufacturing processes tailored to Indian biomass. By doing so, we aim to address critical environmental issues such as farm-waste burning and import dependency.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Investor Co-Founder in our cellulose nanofiber startup. The role involves identifying strategic investment opportunities, collaborating on business development strategies, and fostering partnerships to drive growth. You will be a key part of shaping the company’s roadmap and scaling its market impact. The Investor Co-Founder will also contribute by leveraging financial insights and providing strategic direction for scaling operations.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and Research abilities to assess investment opportunities and market trends
- Excellent Communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders and present ideas effectively
- Proficiency in Sales and Marketing to strategize and drive growth in target markets
- Ability to work collaboratively and remotely while making impactful, entrepreneurial decisions
- Previous startup experience or involvement in sustainability-focused ventures is a plus
- Experience or interest in biotechnology or advanced materials is advantageous
- A strategic mindset with the ability to identify scalable business opportunities
