Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Investor at The Diet Company. The Investor will provide capital and strategic input to support business growth, product development, and market expansion in the diet management sector. Day-to-day activities may include reviewing financial performance, evaluating business plans, participating in strategic planning discussions, and advising on funding allocation. The role involves monitoring key metrics, assessing risks and opportunities, and collaborating with leadership on long-term growth strategies. The Investor may also engage with stakeholders, explore partnerships, and help guide the company’s positioning within the health and wellness marketplace.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in investment, finance, or venture capital, with the ability to analyze business models, financial statements, and growth forecasts.
- Strong strategic thinking and business development skills, including experience with scaling companies, market analysis, and competitive positioning.
- Familiarity with the health, wellness, or nutrition sector, or a strong interest in diet management and consumer health products.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work remotely with founders, leadership teams, and other stakeholders.
- Capacity to make data-informed decisions, assess risk, and support governance and oversight for a growing organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience as an angel investor, limited partner, or strategic advisor to startups or growth-stage companies is highly beneficial.
