The firm operates across four core verticals: Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Raising, Alliances & Joint ventures and Out licensing of healthcare innovations.
About the role:
The role reports directly to the Head of Business and involves end-to-end deal execution across all four verticals. The incumbent will take ownership of live mandates and work closely with the Director & other team members to drive transactions to closure. This is a client-facing role, offering significant exposure to diverse healthcare business models and transactions.
Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis across healthcare sub-sectors and companies.
• Track ongoing deals and transactions, and generate actionable market insights.
• Execute mandates end-to-end, including preparation of pitch decks, teasers, financial models, and investor/prospect lists.
• Lead investor outreach and engagement, supporting fundraising and strategic discussions.
• Manage stakeholders through the transaction lifecycle, including due diligence and negotiations.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and support business development initiatives to onboard new clients.
Required Qualifications, Work-experience and Skills:
• Postgraduate degree in Business, Economics, Healthcare, or a related field; or professional qualifications such as CA / CFA.
• Relevant experience in investment banking, consulting, or roles with strong exposure to business finance; prior exposure to the healthcare sector is preferred.
• Strong experience in business research, data gathering from multiple sources, and generating actionable insights.
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles, with the ability to interpret and analyze financial statements.
• Proficiency in building financial models, including three-statement models, DCF models, and a working knowledge of valuation methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to create clear, concise, and high-quality presentations, including teasers, information memoranda, and client reports.
• Strong client management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
