Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for an Investment Advisory Relationship Manager – Stock Broking. The role involves managing and growing a portfolio of clients by understanding their financial goals, risk profiles, and investment preferences, and providing suitable stock broking and investment advisory solutions. The Relationship Manager will execute and monitor client trades, track portfolio performance, and proactively share market updates, research insights, and investment ideas. Responsibilities include acquiring new clients, deepening relationships with existing clients, ensuring high standards of service, and maintaining accurate documentation and records in line with regulatory requirements. The role also requires close coordination with research, operations, and compliance teams to ensure timely execution, risk management, and adherence to all internal and external guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of equity markets, stock broking operations, and investment products, including experience interpreting market research and financial data.
- Proven client relationship management skills, with the ability to understand client needs, provide suitable advisory, and build long-term partnerships.
- Effective communication and presentation skills to explain investment concepts and risks clearly to clients with varying levels of market experience.
- Solid sales and business development mindset, with the ability to prospect, acquire, and retain clients in a competitive market environment.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and comfort working with trading platforms, CRM tools, and standard office software.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines (such as SEBI and exchange regulations) and strong adherence to ethical and compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., NISM, NCFM, CFP, CFA level(s)) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in stock broking, wealth management, or investment advisory roles is preferred; an interest in continuous learning about markets and products is essential.
