Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Inventory Coordinator role based in Malappuram. The Inventory Coordinator will oversee daily inventory operations, including tracking stock levels, updating inventory records, and ensuring materials are available to support project timelines. Day-to-day tasks include receiving and inspecting incoming goods, organizing warehouse storage, preparing items for dispatch, and coordinating with procurement, logistics, and project teams. The role also involves performing regular stock counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to maintain accurate records. The Inventory Coordinator will use inventory management tools, follow safety and quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of inventory processes.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Inventory Accuracy and Inventory Control, with the ability to maintain precise records and reconcile discrepancies.
- Hands-on experience with Physical Inventory processes, including cycle counts and full stock audits.
- Knowledge of Shipping & Receiving procedures, including documentation, inspection of goods, and coordination with logistics providers.
- Experience in Inventory Management, including stock planning, replenishment, and coordination with procurement or operations teams.
- Familiarity with inventory or ERP software, and proficiency in basic MS Office tools (especially Excel).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with warehouse, procurement, and project teams.
- Prior experience in solar, energy, or related industries is an advantage; diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is a plus
- 0-2 years of experience preferred.
