Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory & Accounts Intern who will support inventory tracking, financial record keeping, and operational reporting. This role offers hands-on exposure to business operations and finance in a fast-growing startup. You will work directly with the Founder, gaining practical experience in managing inventory systems, tracking financial data, and building operational processes.
Roles & Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain and update inventory records across all SKUs
- Track daily inventory movement including inward stock, dispatch, and returns
- Monitor stock levels and flag low inventory for restocking
- Assist in inventory audits and stock reconciliation
- Maintain inventory dashboards and reports
Accounts & Financial Tracking
- Record purchase entries and operational expenses
- Track vendor payments and purchase records
- Assist with invoice management and reconciliation
- Maintain financial trackers using Excel / Google Sheets
- Support preparation of documents for GST and accounting
Operations & Reporting
- Work directly with the Founder on daily operational tracking
- Maintain accurate documentation and business records
- Prepare weekly inventory and expense summaries
- Support process improvement for inventory and finance tracking
Requirements
- Pursuing or completed B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter
- Strong working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
- Basic understanding of accounting and inventory management
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally or Zoho Books is a plus
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Internship Details
- Duration: 4 months
- Location: Bangalore (Work from Office)
