About Invenda:

Invenda Vending d.o.o. is a member of Invenda Group, a Swiss software company transforming automated retail and digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising through its proprietary AI-powered platform. Our Novi Sad operation focuses on product assembly and local operations. As we grow, we’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Senior / Chief Accountant to independently manage all local accounting activities and serve as the key finance contact at this entity, working closely with our Group finance team.

Position: Senior / Chief Accountant

Location: Novi Sad, Serbia (On-site)

Reports to: Head of Finance, Invenda Group AG (Switzerland)

ERP System: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of local accounting and financial processes in a standalone capacity
• Ensure compliance with Serbian regulations and Invenda Group policies.
• Manage statutory accounting, VAT, CIT, and other tax and other reporting.
• Collaborate with external legal and tax advisors on compliance and regulatory matters.
• Handle bookkeeping, reconciliations, and system entries in Microsoft Business Central 365.
• Oversee inventory and cost accounting related to the assembly process.
• Prepare and submit monthly reporting packages to Group headquarters in Switzerland.
• Coordinate monthly payroll with our external payroll provider.
• Support audits, budgeting, and Group-level finance tasks.
• Act as the sole finance representative at the local level – from daily tasks to strategic input.
• A basic knowledge of labor law and employment rights is a plus

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in accounting (ideally: in a production or assembly company).
• Strong knowledge of Serbian GAAP, tax legislation, and payroll compliance.
• Experience working independently and managing full accounting cycle.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a benefit.
• Comfortable working with external service providers (payroll, legal, audit).
• Accounting/ERP software experience – ideally with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and highly self-organized.
• Fluent in Serbian and confident in English (spoken and written).
