Job Title: Intune L4 Engineer
Role: Senior Engineer
Experience: 5+ years
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Engineer, you provide escalated support for Service Desk for timely resolution of incidents related to Intune or Intune managed devices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide escalated support for Service Desk for timely resolution of incidents related to Intune or Intune managed devices.
• Resolving Service Requests and Incidents related to Intune or devices managed by Intune
• Preparing and implement changes to the end user platform related to Intune services
• Create, manage and operate all features and policies enabled in Intune.
• Assist onsite support teams for device. provisioning, enrolling, and retiring.
• Enforce specific security and policies on Intune enrolled devices.
• Provisioning of essential services, configuration and applications to end users from Intune.
• Develop and publish self-help documentation that can assist service desk team and users during Intune enrolment.
• Ensure devices that meets security baseline requirements are enrolled into Intune.
• Perform remote troubleshooting of device related issues that are raised by users.
• Execute remote wipe and security measures during incidents of device theft or lost reported.
• Manage Intune enrolled devices through a centralized management console and troubleshoot.
• Support users issues with registration, certificate issuance while enrolling into Intune
• Publish, remove, and modify applications and troubleshoot issues regarding access or launch in the Company Portal.
• Modify user-device tag assignment, policies and settings for devices in the central infrastructure.
• Retire user-devices in the central Intune infrastructure (cleaning process of wiped devices).
• Add and remove devices into non-compliance list based on the requirement.
• Define and configure the application configuration policies for applications in the Company Portal.
• Generate reports from the central INTUNE infrastructure.
• Escalate problems or issues to the vendor for support.
Skill Requirements:
• Microsoft Intune Administration: Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager, including tenant administration, configuration profiles, and security baselines.
• Device Management (MDM/MAM): Provisioning, enrolling, and managing Windows, iOS, Android, and macOS devices.
• Azure Active Directory / Entra ID: Configuring Conditional Access policies, device groups, and user identities.
• Windows Autopilot: Experience in zero-touch provisioning and modern deployment of Windows devices.
• PowerShell Scripting: Automating tasks, troubleshooting, and deploying custom configurations.
• Co-Management & SCCM: Integrating on-premises SCCM with Intune for hybrid environments
• Leadership qualities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience of ITIL processes.
• Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on trends and technologies.
• Strong capability to support, analyse and drive initiatives.
