This role is hybrid (not a fully remote internship) in Colorado and housing is not provided. As such, candidates local to the state or who list they have housing available in Colorado will be considered first.
Location: 1601 Dry Creek Dr, Longmont, CO 80503
Duration: May 28th- August 15th (12 weeks)
Each intern will focus on completing a project designed to provide hands on, career/major relevant project experience that will have an immediate and lasting impact on a real time business need. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to:

Overview:
We are seeking a Data Validation Intern to support our Networking Department by ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. The intern will primarily use SQL to validate and verify information, helping to automate data checks and improve entry validation processes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with databases, Excel, and GUI interfaces while developing skills in data quality management and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Use SQL queries to verify data accuracy and consistency within our databases.
Develop and automate validation tasks to improve data quality and reduce manual effort.
Create job aids and documentation for data entry validation processes.
Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, errors, or anomalies.
Work with Excel to analyze and manipulate datasets.
Assist in implementing GUI-based tools for data validation.
Collaborate with networking and database teams to improve data workflows.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience with SQL and writing queries for data validation.
Familiarity with Excel functions, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
Basic understanding of database structures and networking concepts.
Interest in automation and reducing manual data entry errors.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
