About the Role
We are looking for skilled Privacy Professionals with hands-on experience in DPDPA implementation, privacy framework development, and policy/process creation. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to drive privacy compliance and operational excellence.
DPDPA Implementation – ongoing or completed - mandatory
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct DPDPA readiness assessments and identify gaps across business units
- Develop and implement privacy frameworks, SOPs, policies, and processes
- Support end-to-end privacy program implementation
- Build privacy documentation, templates, guidelines, and operating procedures
- Perform Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA/PIA)
- Conduct data mapping, inventory management, and data classification activities
- Manage and support data subject rights (DSR) processes and workflows
- Collaborate with Legal, InfoSec, IT, HR, and Operations teams to ensure compliance
- Assist in implementing privacy controls, monitoring mechanisms, and remediation actions
- Support privacy training, awareness sessions, and stakeholder engagement
- Telecom industry experience is an added advantage
Required Skills & Experience
- 7-9 years of proven experience in Data Privacy / DPDPA / Data Protection
- Strong expertise in:
- DPDPA gap assessments
- Privacy framework creation
- Policy & process drafting
- Implementation & operationalization
- Risk assessments, controls, remediation
- Good understanding of global privacy principles
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Certifications
Any privacy-related certification is accepted, such as:
- CITP
- CITM
- ISO 27701
- Other equivalent privacy credentials
