Role Description The Interventional Cardiologist will work full time on-site at a hospital near Nagpur, w Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions, performing interventional cardiology procedures, and providing patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role involves active participation in cath lab operations, including angioplasty, stent placement, and other minimally invasive procedures. The Interventional Cardiologist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to treatment planning, ensure adherence to clinical protocols, and participate in emergency cardiac care. The role may also include supervising junior medical staff, maintaining detailed medical records, and supporting quality improvement initiatives within the cardiology department.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine, with recognized medical degree and appropriate clinical training.
- Specialized expertise in Cardiology, including diagnosis and management of complex cardiac conditions.
- Hands-on experience in Cath Lab procedures, including invasive and minimally invasive cardiac interventions.
- Advanced skills in Interventional and Interventional Cardiology techniques for both elective and emergency cases.
- Valid medical license and relevant cardiology certifications as per regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a hospital environment and participate in on-call duties.
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in teaching or mentoring junior clinicians is an advantage.
- Willingness to relocate or commute to Nagpur (Gondiya) and work full time on-site.
