This on-site role serves a growing referral base across Gujarat.

Primary Job Title: Consultant Cardiologist (DM/DrNB)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology care including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic cardiac conditions in OPD, ICU, and emergency settings.
  • Lead and perform invasive procedures in the cath lab such as coronary angiography and PCI; ensure procedural safety, documentation, and post-procedure care.
  • Interpret and report advanced cardiac diagnostics including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac CT/MRI reports, and stress testing.
  • Manage heart-failure clinics, arrhythmia evaluations, and coordinate multidisciplinary care with cardiac surgery, anesthesiology, and critical care teams.
  • Drive quality, clinical governance and infection-control standards in cardiology services; participate in morbidity & mortality reviews and protocol development.
  • Mentor junior doctors and residents; contribute to clinical teaching, audit, and continuous professional development activities.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • DM Cardiology or DrNB Cardiology (super-specialty qualification) with valid medical registration.
  • Proven competence in coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention procedures.
  • Experience in echocardiography reporting (TTE/TEE) and interpretation of advanced cardiac imaging.
  • Clinical skills in managing cardiac emergencies, ICU-level cardiac care, and cardiogenic shock protocols.
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with cath lab workflows, procedural documentation, and clinical governance for invasive cardiology.

Preferred

  • Fellowship or additional training in interventional cardiology or electrophysiology.
  • Experience in leading a cath lab or heading a cardiology unit in a multispecialty hospital.
  • Academic contributions such as publications, teaching experience, or participation in clinical trials.

Location & Work Type

On-site role based in Palanpur, Gujarat — full clinical commitment across OPD, inpatient wards, ICU, and cath lab.
