About The Opportunity
We are hiring an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to join a high-volume on-site catheterisation laboratory in India. The role is focused on delivering best-in-class diagnostic and interventional care for acute coronary syndromes, complex PCI including CTOs, and participating in program development, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic coronary angiography and elective/primary percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), including complex and CTO procedures with proficiency in transradial and femoral approaches.
- Lead primary STEMI rotations and on-call cath lab responses; provide timely decision-making and urgent revascularisation for acute coronary syndromes.
- Manage periprocedural patient care—pre-procedure assessment, antithrombotic management, complication recognition and immediate remediation (e.g., perforation, tamponade management).
- Utilise intravascular imaging and physiology (IVUS, OCT, FFR) to guide interventions and optimise stent deployment and outcomes.
- Drive clinical governance: maintain cath lab protocols, radiation safety, infection control, documentation, morbidity & mortality reviews and KPI tracking.
- Mentor junior cardiologists and cath lab staff; contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and training programs to elevate service quality.

Preferred
- Structural Heart Interventions (e.g., TAVR/TAVI experience)
- Advanced CTO techniques and dedicated CTO device experience
- Experience in high-volume primary PCI/STEMI programs and cath lab leadership
Qualifications & Compliance
- Valid postgraduate cardiology credentials and relevant clinical registration as required by Indian regulatory bodies (to be confirmed at interview).
- Advanced cardiac life support certification (ACLS) and demonstrated emergency cardiac resuscitation experience.
