Job Title: Senior Software Developer (Interoperability)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with a focus on interoperability solutions. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement software systems using Intersystem product that facilitate seamless communication and data exchange between disparate systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of technologies, improving efficiency and user experience for our EHR systems, you will also play a critical role in enhancing our software capabilities and ensuring high-quality integration standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of software development experience, with a focus on interoperability solutions
Familiarity with integration platforms and middleware solutions, Proficiency in Intersystem products (e.g., HealthShare, Ensemble, IRIS) and experience in implementing interoperability solutions is preferred
Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and JSON/XML data formats.
Good knowledge of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development a robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions utilizing Intersystem technologies, such as HealthShare, Ensemble, or IRIS.
Develop and implement interoperability frameworks that support data exchange and communication between disparate healthcare systems and applications.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, and quality assurance, to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Design integration architectures using HL7, FHIR, or other relevant standards to ensure compliance and best practices in data exchange.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share constructive feedback with team members
Provide expert-level support for deployed applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements as needed.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, system configurations, and project specifications
Conduct rigorous testing of interoperability solutions to ensure reliability, security, and performance
Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to interoperability and software development
