Role Description The Interior Designer will work full time on-site in Bengaluru, collaborating closely with clients, project managers, and execution teams to deliver functional, aesthetically appealing interiors. Responsibilities include developing design concepts, space plans, and mood boards, creating 2D drawings and 3D visualizations, and selecting materials, finishes, color schemes, and furnishings aligned with project requirements and budgets. The role involves site visits for measurements, inspections, and coordination with vendors and contractors to ensure design accuracy and quality standards. The Interior Designer will prepare detailed BOQs, timelines, and design presentations, support turnkey execution from design to handover, and maintain documentation for all project stages. The position also requires staying updated on design trends, sustainable materials, and best practices relevant to residential, commercial, and office interiors.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong interior design and space planning skills, including experience with residential, commercial, and office interiors.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar 2D/3D software).
- Candidates should possess skills in material selection, color theory, lighting design, and furniture layout to create cohesive design solutions.
- Candidates should possess project coordination abilities, including vendor management, site supervision, timeline tracking, and quality control.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and presentation skills to explain design concepts clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant educational background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; civil engineering exposure or understanding of structural, plumbing, and electrical aspects is an added advantage.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in turnkey interiors, modular kitchens, custom furniture, or similar design-build settings will be beneficial.
