Role Description The Internship Trainee role at Jaya Network is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The trainee will support various departments in day-to-day activities such as assisting in content preparation, coordinating with production teams, helping with scheduling and documentation, and performing basic research related to programming and audience preferences. Responsibilities may include organizing media assets, supporting social media updates, assisting with studio or office tasks, and learning the fundamentals of television broadcast workflows. The role is designed to provide hands-on training, mentorship, and practical exposure to the operations of a satellite television network.
Qualifications
- Interest in television, media, and entertainment, with a willingness to learn about broadcast operations and content development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with office productivity tools and internet research.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Media, Mass Communication, Journalism, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Tamil and working knowledge of English to support internal communication and content-related tasks.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and openness to feedback and guidance from mentors and supervisors.
