About Fostride
Fostride is a climate-tech infrastructure startup building W.I.S.E. (Waste Intelligent Sorting Engine) an AI-powered intelligence layer designed to optimize waste management across its lifecycle.
Our first deployment, R3Bin, is currently live in Mumbai across campuses and enterprise environments, achieving ~75% segregation accuracy and improving toward 90%+. Every deployment strengthens our AI models, operational intelligence, and ESG capabilities.
We are building foundational waste intelligence infrastructure for India.
Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Mumbai at riidl, K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering.
Interns will work directly with the core team on real-world waste management systems, AI model optimization, field deployments, and sustainability initiatives. This is a hands-on role involving both technical and operational exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in research and data analysis related to waste classification and sustainability
- Support AI/ML model training and performance evaluation
- Conduct field testing and deployment support for smart waste systems
- Work on documentation, reporting, and ESG impact analysis
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams
- Contribute to community engagement and environmental awareness initiatives
