Role: Internship-Program Admission Counsellor (MS in Artificial Intelligence program at Plaksha)
Internship Duration: 4-5 Months
We are seeking an Intern Counsellor to serve as the primary point of engagement for prospective candidates interested in Plaksha University’s Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (MS in AI) program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective candidates interested in the MS in AI program across email, phone, and virtual interactions
• Provide thoughtful counselling by understanding candidate backgrounds, aspirations, and program fit
• Clearly and consistently communicate the MS in AI program’s academic structure, learning outcomes, and career pathways
• Represent the program with professionalism and credibility, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience
• Support the admissions journey through structured follow-ups, query resolution, and coordination with internal teams
• Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and engagement status
• Support webinars, information sessions, and other prospective student engagement initiatives
• Contribute to clear, candidate-facing communication material and refine messaging based on applicant interactions
What we require:
• Prior experience interacting with students, professionals, or aspirants in an academic or training environment is desirable
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and credibly
• Strong interpersonal skills with a counselling-oriented, empathetic approach
• Ability to represent an academic program with professionalism, clarity, and confidence
• Interest in higher education, technology, and the evolving AI landscape
