Role Description
This is an on-site internship role for Freight Forwarding at our Navi Mumbai location. The intern will assist in managing logistics operations, including coordinating air and ocean freight shipments, supporting customs clearance processes, and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements. Responsibilities also involve liaising with freight carriers, preparing shipping documents, and maintaining transparent communication with agents and clients to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Understanding of logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain operations
- Proficiency in preparing and managing documentation for exports and imports
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clarity and transparency
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including carriers, agents, and customs officials
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address logistics challenges
- Familiarity with freight systems and technologies is a plus
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
