About the Internship


CropXplore® is building a hyperlocal agritech platform delivering drone spraying, crop monitoring, and data-driven farm solutions. This Agronomy Internship offers hands-on exposure to real farm conditions, working directly with farmers, drone teams, and crop data.

This is a field-intensive, learning-first role designed for candidates who want practical experience in agronomy, precision agriculture, and agritech operations.


Key Responsibilities


🌾 Pre & Post Spray Support
  • Assist in assessing crop condition before spraying
  • Support post-spray observation and effectiveness analysis
  • Work closely with drone teams on crop-specific spraying inputs


📊 Crop Monitoring & NDVI
  • Support field data collection and crop health monitoring
  • Assist in interpreting NDVI and other crop health indicators
  • Document observations and basic reports
👨‍🌾 Farmer Interaction
  • Engage with farmers during field visits and demonstrations
  • Help explain agronomic practices and service benefits
  • Support onboarding and coordination during operations
📢 Field Marketing Support
  • Assist in conducting on-ground demonstrations and awareness activities
  • Support local outreach and farmer engagement initiatives
🧪 Agronomy Learning & Field Exposure
  • Learn crop cycles, pest/disease identification, and spray protocols
  • Observe and support precision agriculture practices
  • Work on real-world agritech deployments

Eligibility
  • Students or graduates in BSc / MSc Agriculture, Agronomy, or related fields
  • Strong interest in fieldwork and applied agriculture
  • Willingness to relocate to Mysore / Mandya region
  • Comfortable working outdoors and traveling frequently
  • Basic understanding of crops and farming practices
