Job Description – IoT Developer

We are looking for a passionate IoT Developer to design, develop, and integrate IoT solutions that seamlessly connect devices, sensors, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with embedded systems, IoT communication protocols, cloud integration, and real-time data processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end IoT solutions for connected devices and smart systems.
- Develop firmware and software for IoT devices, gateways, and edge computing applications.
- Integrate IoT devices with cloud platforms and backend services.
- Work with sensors, controllers, microprocessors, and communication modules.
- Develop APIs and data pipelines for real-time device communication and monitoring.
- Implement secure device authentication, communication, and data encryption.
- Monitor device performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system reliability.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, AI, and product teams to deliver scalable IoT solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment processes.
- Stay updated with emerging IoT technologies, protocols, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in IoT Development or Embedded Systems.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience with microcontrollers and embedded platforms such as ESP32, STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets, BLE, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, Modbus, or CAN.
- Experience integrating IoT devices with cloud platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, or Google Cloud IoT.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, REST APIs, and real-time communication.
- Knowledge of firmware development, debugging, and hardware interfacing.
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or InfluxDB.
- Experience using Git and modern software development practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with edge computing and real-time data analytics.
- Knowledge of AI/ML integration with IoT solutions.
- Experience working with industrial automation, smart buildings, or connected device ecosystems.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native deployment.
- Understanding of IoT security standards and device lifecycle management.
